Seedance 2.5 was officially announced on June 23, 2026 at the Volcano Engine FORCE conference and launched into a closed (enterprise) beta. The Volcano Engine / BytePlus ModelArk API is widely reported to open more broadly around July 16, 2026, with consumer access following through Dreamina/Jimeng — but ByteDance has not confirmed an exact public launch date, so it is not yet generally available to everyone.
